Go to your project board and click on the Automations button found in the top right corner to open the Automation center.
Click on New automation and give the automation a name that reflects its purpose.
Pick the event that will trigger the automation. If you want to create a recurring automation, you need to set up the recurrence trigger — so choose the “Repeat every” option.
Once chosen, configure the trigger further by choosing the exact board data it affects.
You can also make your automations smarter by adding multiple conditions that have to be met before the automation is triggered.
Decide what action follows the trigger: change Item field, move Item, change Item subscribers, send notification, or create Item/Subitem.
Click Create automation to activate it. Now, every time the trigger and any additional conditions are met, Plaky will automatically go through with the action and notify relevant team members.
Board automations are specific rules you can set up in Plaky to trigger actions automatically. They follow a simple “When this happens, do this” logic and are used to streamline workflows and eliminate repetitive tasks.
In Plaky, only Board Owners can set up automations.
To set up a board automation, go to the Automation center on your Plaky board, click on “New automation”, add the trigger, conditions, and action(s), and click “Create automation”. This activates the automation, but you can also edit or delete it at any time.
Board automations are available with PRO (1,000 actions per month) and ENTERPRISE plans (unlimited actions).
