Monitor team activity

Use activity logs and notifications to hold team members accountable for their work. Always know who's working on what, how long each task takes, and whether or not deadlines are being met.

Use permissions to control the level of board access for different team members. Make sure that sensitive information is protected, and that only authorized team members can make changes to the project.

Creating project boards has never been easier

Step 1 Create a new board

Click on the + sign in the left sidebar and choose New board. Decide whether you want to create a board from scratch or from a template. Then, add key details, such as board name, Space, and members. You can also make the board private or public.

Step 2 Create fields

Structure the board data however it makes the most sense to you. Click on the + sign at the top of an Item Group to add different types of Fields — Status, Rich Text, Date, Person, etc.

Step 3 Add items and subitems

Break down your project into smaller tasks and subtasks. Click “New item/subitem” and fill out the details about your tasks, based on the previously created Fields.

Step 4 Set member permissions

Click the three dots in the top-right corner and choose Board permission. Decide the level of permissions your board members will have to keep information secure — Edit everything, Edit content only, or Add comments and files.

Step 5 Assign tasks and collaborate

Use the Person field to delegate tasks to team members and keep everyone accountable. And you’re all set and ready to collaborate!
