Creating a board has never been easier
Name the board
In Plaky you can either create a board from scratch or choose one of the many pre-configured templates suited for different teams & industries.
Navigate to the Workspace menu at the top left corner and:
1. Choose new board from the drop down.
2. Choose create from scratch or create from template
3. If creating from scratch just enter the board name.
With Plaky, you can manage your Team Members within your Board. Invite any Team Member, or the entire Team to the Board, or share the Board with them.
Board Owner can set access permissions to other Members. They can either Edit everything, Edit content or Write updates only.
The next step is to add tasks to the board. Item represents any type of task, assignment or responsibility that is part of the project and should be completed.
To add item:
1. Click +Add placed below Item Group on Board.
2. Enter Item name in field that appears (e.g. Content Editing)
3. Press Enter on keyboard.
Fields represent any type of data that can be added to your Items and help you organize and complete the Items on your Board in the most efficient way (e.g. text, link, status, person…).
To add field:
1. Click the + button located at the top right of the Item Group.
2. Choose field type from the dropdown
3. Add field types one by one.
Assign tasks and collaborate
Person Field allows you to assign tasks to your Team Members, or check who in your team is responsible for which task.
You only need to create the Field from the dropdown and select the person. That can be the Member of your Board, or your Team Member.
