Deactivate and Delete Users

Admins can deactivate and delete the accounts of other users (except for other Admins, only Workspace Owner can deactivate an Admin’s account). This action is done in the User Management section of an Admin functionality.

To deactivate a user, follow these steps:

  1. Click on three dots at the top left part of the screen
  2. Choose Administration from the menu
  3. Navigate to the User Account you’d like to deactivate
  4. Click the three dots on the right to open the menu
  5. Choose Deactivate user

You’ll get a toast message (at the bottom right corner) that the action was completed.

  1. Tap on Users and Teams on the home page
  2. Tap on Users at [Organization_name]
  3. Tap on the user you want to deactivate
  4. Tap on Deactivate User
  5. Tap on Deactivate User in the confirmation modal to complete the action

Deactivated User will no longer have access to the Space or the account. Inactive users will remain visible everywhere in the app where they were already added, with label “inactive” next to their user name.

To delete user account, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to your account at the top left part of the screen
  2. Choose Administration from the menu
  3. Open Users tab
  4. Navigate to the User Account you’d like to delete
  5. Click the three dots on the right to open the menu
  6. Choose Delete user account
  7. Enter user alias
  8. Click Delete to complete the action
  1. Tap on the hamburger menu in the top left corner
  2. Select Users and Teams
  3. Tap on Users at [Organization_name]
  4. Tap on the user you want to delete
  5. Tap on Delete user
  6. Enter user alias
  7. Tap on Delete user account to complete the action

COMING SOON

Deletion of a user account is restricted to those accounts that have been previously deactivated. Deleting a user account means permanent removal of all data associated with that user. In place of the user’s identity, a user alias will be prominently displayed throughout the application.
