Get Started With Plaky Board Automations
Board Automations are available on Trial, Enterprise, Bundle, and Pro plans.
Only Board owners can create new automations.
Board automations in Plaky improve your tasks and workflows by automatically performing actions based on triggers. By setting up automations, you can eliminate repetitive tasks and focus on more important work.
You can set up Automations by defining triggers that will execute actions once activated. Also, you can add conditions that must be met before the action is performed.
To open Automations, follow these steps:
- Open your Board
- Click on Automations in the top right corner

In the Automation Center, you can add new automations or manage existing ones. Moreover, you can turn automations on or off.

Add a new automation #
Custom board automations help you organize your workflow according to your needs. To create a new automation, follow these steps:
- Click on Automations in the top right corner of your board
- Click on New automation
- Click on this happens to choose your trigger
- Click on the highlighted areas to specify the details of the trigger
- Click on +Add condition to add a condition (optional)
- Click on the highlighted parts of the selected condition to define its specifics
- Click on do this to select the action from the dropdown
- Click on the highlighted areas to specify the details of the trigger, condition, or actions
- Click on +Add another action to add an additional action (optional)
- Tap on Create automation in the bottom right corner to complete the process

You can only have 1 trigger per automation, but you can have up to 5 conditions and actions.
View automation usage #
You can always see how many automations you have used on your workspace, and how many you have left. To do this, follow these steps:
- Click on the three dots next to your workspace name
- Click on Automations

When you open Automations, you can see the:
- Total usage of automation actions in your workspace
- Number of available automation actions in your plan

The number of monthly automations you can use depends on your subscription. Every automation action performed counts as 1 use.
Edit/delete automation #
To edit or delete an automation in Plaky, follow these steps:
- Open Automations on your board
- Click on the three dots next to the automation
- Select edit automation or delete automation

To disable an automation, click the toggle button next to the three dots.

How many automation actions are included in my plan? #
The number of available monthly automations varies depending on the subscription plan. The number of automation actions per plan is:
- PRO & TRIAL plan — up to 1000 automation actions per month
- ENTERPRISE & BUNDLE plan — unlimited number of automation actions per month

How can I use automations in my everyday work? #
A practical way to utilize automations in your daily work is to use them to move items from one item group to another. For example, you can create an automation that moves items from ‘To do’ to ‘In progress’ when an item subscriber is added.
