Jelena is an experienced writer with a wide variety of interests in her professional and personal life. She joined the Plaky team to expand and further explore her knowledge of project management and its implementation in SaaS.

The BA in Economics equipped her with the necessary education in marketing and management that she was able to apply in developing her career from sales to content writing. She started off in the e-commerce industry, managing a portfolio of products and a small but diverse team. This experience gave her invaluable insight into creating efficient processes, developing leadership skills, and enhancing team collaboration.

The passion for sales and organized data sheets never dwindled the love for writing. She cherished it throughout the years until eventually making a U-turn and dedicating herself completely to it. For over five years, she researched and wrote extensively about managing teams and projects while finding ways to automate processes through advanced software.
Covering topics on project management became her niche specialty that she keeps upgrading.

Thanks to the opportunity to spend a significant part of her childhood in Italy, Jelena is lucky to use Italian as a second language today and enjoy Italian music and TV shows as a native. When she’s not writing, she loves to tend to her plants and grow chili peppers, make delicious cakes, and flaunt her vast trivia knowledge in pub quizzes. Her life-long dream is to spend most of the year by the sea and write a book.
