Onboarding for New Workspace Users

To help new users get accustomed to Plaky, we have created this onboarding guide to assist you in setting everything up quickly.

Join a workspace #

Before you join a Plaky workspace, one of your team members (with permission) has to invite you. Once the invite is sent, here’s how you can join:

  1. Open the email with the invitation link
  2. Click on Join Plaky
  3. Write your name and accept the terms of use
  4. Click on Continue

Another way to join a workspace is to log in (using the email address to which the invitation was sent) and accept the invitation. Here’s how to do it:

  1. Log in with the email where you received an invitation
  2. Click Join to accept the invitation
  3. Write your name and accept
  4. Click on Continue to finish the process

Once you have joined a workspace, you can proceed to the next step.

Set up your profile #

Setting up your profile is important, as it allows your teammates to learn more about you and your role. Here’s what information you can add to your Plaky profile and how to do it:

  1. Click on your profile picture in the top right corner
  2. Click on My Profile
  3. Click on the information you want to change

When you open the My Profile section, you can edit the following information:

  • Titre
  • Phone number
  • Mobile phone number
  • Location
  • Birthday
  • Work anniversary

Set up notifications #

Notifications keep you alert about all changes that happen to your projects and tasks. In Plaky, you can receive the following types of notifications:

  • Email notifications
  • In-app notifications
  • Pumble notifications

Here’s how you can set up notifications:

  1. Click on your profile picture in the top right corner
  2. Click on Preferences
  3. Select the Notifications tab
  4. Click on Email notifications
  5. Select what notifications you want to receive

  5. Select what notifications you want to receive

Set timezone & theme #

Plaky lets you modify your timezone according to your location. Here’s how you can do it:

  1. Click on your profile picture in the top right corner
  2. Click on Preferences
  3. Select the General tab
  4. Click on the timezone to change it

Also, you can change your theme:

  1. Click on your profile picture in the top right corner
  2. Click on Preferences
  3. Select the General tab
  4. Click on the switch to change the theme

Choose favorite Boards #

To keep track of your Boards, you can select favorites and access them easily. Here’s how:

  1. Open a Board
  2. Click the star icon on the right side of your screen

You can view your favorite Boards in the left sidebar, under the Favorites section.
