Create Board from a Template<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
Whether you’re adding the first Board in the Space, or one more to the collection of Templates you already have, you always have the option of creating it from Template or scratch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
To add new Board from Template:<\/p>\n\n\n

- Navigate to the Space you’d like to add Template to<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Click +<\/strong> located below the Space name<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Choose New Board<\/strong> and Create from template<\/strong> from the dropdown menu<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

<\/figure>\n\n\n\nAfter you’ve chosen the Template, you can hover over it and click Preview<\/strong> if you’d like to see what it looks like, or click Use<\/strong> to use this Template right away. In the preview mode you have the option to click Use Template<\/strong> to use it in the existing Space, or choose the Space from the dropdown. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

- Tap on Create <\/strong>to complete the action<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<\/div><\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n\n
Now, you can modify this newly created Board according to your needs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Set Board as Template<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
If you’ve created the Board that fits your needs from the Template and you’d like to reuse it multiple times, you can set that Board as Template and use it as all other Templates available in the Template Center. This feature is available on paid plans<\/a> only.<\/p>\n\n\n

- In the Board navigate to the three dot menu at the top right corner<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Choose Mark as Template<\/strong> from the dropdown<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

Remove Board as Template<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
Public Board set as Template<\/strong> can be removed by:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

- Tap on three dots in the top right corner to open the Board menu<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Tap on Remove as Template<\/strong> to complete the action.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<\/div>\n\n

The Board will be removed from the Template Center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
All the Boards created from a Board set as Template prior to Removing that Board as Template will be preserved, along with any modifications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Any type of Board can be saved as Template, whether it’s Private<\/strong> or Public<\/strong>. Also, think of type of data you have on the Board prior to setting the Board as Template, since all the data will be present in the template.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Board permissions are propagated from the Board to the Template. This means that if the Board that the Template was created from is set as Private<\/strong>, the newly-created Board from that Template will be set as Private<\/strong>, as well. These permissions, however, can be changed by the Board Owner<\/strong>. Additionally to that, the settings to who can modify the Board will be propagated to the Template and subsequently the Board created from that Template, as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Files, subscriptions and comments will be propagated to the Template and to the Board created from it. These can, however, be subsequently modified, along with other components.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Template Owner <\/strong>is the User who created the Template from the Board.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
