Workspaces subscribed to paid plans (or utilizing paid features during the Free Trial) may face certain changes when downgrading to a lower or Free plan. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If a Workspace is downgraded, any user or team permissions that were previously customized will be automatically reset to their default settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Changes that happen to the Space<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If a Workspace was using closed Spaces (on Trial or a paid plan), and the Workspace got downgraded, the Space will be changed to an Open Space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you downgrade a plan and then later upgrade back, Spaces will be returned to their original condition before the downgrade.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Changes that happen to a Board<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If a Workspace was using private Boards (on Trial or a paid plan), and the Workspace was downgraded, the Boards will become public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If Board Permissions were set to Add comments or files<\/strong> or\u00a0Edit<\/strong><\/span> content<\/strong>, and the Workspace is downgraded, Permissions will be changed to Edit everything<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Boards that were using Gantt View will remain usable, but Gantt View will be unavailable if the Workspace is downgraded. You can either delete the Gantt View or update your plan to keep it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you downgrade a plan and then upgrade back, Boards will return to their original condition before the downgrade.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Changes that happen to Board Fields<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

When a Workspace is downgraded to a lower subscription type, you will keep the number of Fields you have, but you will not be able to add new Fields on the free plan (the maximum is 6).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Changes that happen to Board Field types<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If a Workspace is downgraded to a plan that doesn\u2019t support a certain type of Field (e.g., Timeline Field on the free plan), that Field will still be visible, but you will not be able to use it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To resolve this, you can either upgrade your plan or remove the Field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Changes that happen to user types\u00a0<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Viewer user type is available only on paid plans. When a Workspace is downgraded to a Free plan, all Viewer users will be logged out and will not be able to log in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Admins can resolve this by going to the user management screen and changing the user role for active and pending viewers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
