The Summary Row feature in Plaky allows Board Members to obtain summarized data from specific Fields in the table or Kanban view, providing valuable insights into project’s progress and key metrics. Here’s how to use the Summary Row effectively:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Table View<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Summary row is valid for Numbers, Status, Tag, Person and Date Fields, in table view only, and is applied on a Board view level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To switch on\/off summary row for a specific board:<\/h4>\n\n\n

      A summary row with default settings will immediately be added as a last row under each Item group, and will include all the Fields to which Summary row is applicable. Applied Filters will impact the summary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      If a field supports Summary row, and it is turned on, but no item has a value for that Field, a dash will be displayed in the summary row for that Field.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

      Summary row can be switched on\/off for any particular Field that has a summary row as well. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

                Customizing Fields<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

                Each Field in your Summary row can be further customized or switched off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                Numbers<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

                The default summary will display the sum for the Numbers Field. To customize it:<\/p>\n\n\n

                    The summary row will display the result of the selected function on group level, with the set unit and alignment applied. The result on a board view level (for all groups) will be displayed in the pop-up on the Web app.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                    Status and tag<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

                    Summary of all labels will be displayed by default. To set your custom combination of statuses\/tags:<\/p>\n\n\n

                            There are no additional settings to customize the person Field. The summary row will display the people stack\/teams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                            Kanban View<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

                            Summary row is valid for Status Field, and is applied on a Board view level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                            2. Toggle the switch to turn on\/off summary row<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                              A summary row will immediately be added as a last column after each Item group, and will include all the Status Fields. If Kanban is not divided in groups, there will be only one summary. Applied Filters will impact the summary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                              When you click on any color in the summary, the Kanban group with that status color will have a darker background, a border in Plaky primary color, and the relevant status field will be scrolled into view for easy access.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>

                              \n\n

                              On iOS devices, Summary row is automatically switched on for Kanban View, and cannot be switched off. Applied Filters will impact the summary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                              When you tap on the Item group, you’ll see a comprehensive overview of all statuses associated with that group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
