Owner with Admin or Member user role can grant the ownership of their Space, Board or Item to another Member or Admin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Space ownership<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

To grant someone Space ownership:  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Navigate to the Space menu at the top left corner <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Choose Space settings<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Hover over Member\/Admin you\u2019d like to grant ownership to<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Click on the key next to the users\u2019 name on the right to appoint them as Owner<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Remove yourself, if you no longer want to be Owner of the Space<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Board ownership<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    You can also grant Board ownership to another Member\/Admin. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Choose Board and navigate to Add members<\/strong> at the top of the screen<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Hover over Member\/Admin you\u2019d like to grant ownership to<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Click on the key next to the users\u2019 name on the right to appoint them as Owner<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    4. Remove yourself, if you no longer want to be Owner of the Board<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      An Item does not need to have an Owner.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

      If your priorities have changed, or you started working on some other task, you can grant the ownership of the Item you\u2019re no longer in charge of to another Member\/Admin. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      To grant Item ownership:<\/p>\n\n\n

      1. Click on the Item to which you\u2019d like to add a new owner<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      2. Hover over Member\/Admin you\u2019d like to grant ownership to<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      3. Click on the key next to the Users\u2019 name on the right to appoint them as Owner<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      4. Remove yourself, if you no longer want to be Owner of the Item<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

        1. Tap on the Item you\u2019re frequently notified about<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        2. Tap on the\u00a0Item subscription<\/strong>\u00a0button at the top right corner of the screen<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        3. Swipe the name of the selected user to the left <\/li>\n\n\n\n
        4. Tap Make owner<\/strong> to complete the action<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

          To remove the user as an Owner: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

            \n
          1. Tap on the Item you\u2019re frequently notified about<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          2. Tap on the\u00a0Item subscription<\/strong>\u00a0button at the top right corner of the screen<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          3. Swipe the name of the selected user to the right <\/li>\n\n\n\n
          4. Tap Remove owner<\/strong> to complete the action<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<\/div>

            1. Tap on the Item you\u2019re frequently notified about<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            2. Tap on the\u00a0Item subscriptions<\/strong> at the top left corner of the Item card<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            3. Tap on the key icon next to the name of an Item subscriber from the list, to grant them ownership<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            4. Tap Save<\/strong> to complete the action<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<\/div><\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n\n

              Users need to be Members of your Team with Admin or Team Member role and subscribed to the Space\/Board\/Item to become Owners. Viewers (available on paid plans<\/a> only) cannot become Owners. Also note that one Space\/Board\/Item can have multiple Owners.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
