Construct a project charter<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Once you know the project goals, it\u2019s time to construct a <a href=\"https:\/\/plaky.com\/learn\/project-management\/project-charter\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">project charter<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A project charter is a short document that serves as an overview of your entire project. What\u2019s the project\u2019s purpose? What objectives are we achieving? Assemble the project team&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the most important steps is choosing the right people for your project. Choose wrong, and it doesn\u2019t matter how great your initial idea is \u2014 your project will be an absolute disaster.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When selecting team members, consider who has the expertise you need for that particular project. When you have the right people on the right tasks, you can be sure that everything will be done on time and with minimal chances of mistakes.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That said, don\u2019t forget to check the availability of those employees as well. They should be able to dedicate themselves to your project without being overbooked. From there, I am able to then assign roles and responsibilities and establish communication channels. The team should come out of this meeting with a unified front to present to the client.
